I graduated from NC Wesleyan College with a degree in Elementary Education, Grades K-6. This year will begin my fifth year at ZES and my 24th year in education. I have experience in both the public and private sectors of education and have taught 1st, 3rd, 4th, 5th, and 6th grades. I am passionate about teaching! I have high expectations for all of my students and believe that all students can learn. I strive to create a classroom where students can grow and feel safe. I am looking forward to another great school year!!
In my free time, I like to exercise, read, and play golf. I am married and have 2 daughters. I also have two turtles and a puppy named Allie.
